TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Archetype online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Online Store
The Archetype online store is operated by Kauniste Finland Oy. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform through which our products are offered and sold.
You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order. You may not use our website or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a justified reason to do so, for example in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, an obvious pricing error or inability to fulfil the order. If an order that has already been paid for is cancelled by us, the amount paid will be refunded.
2. Products
We aim to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible.
Please note that colours may appear differently depending on the screen or device used. Natural materials may also have slight variations in colour, texture and appearance. These characteristics are part of the individual nature of the material and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Product availability may be limited. Adding an item to the shopping cart does not reserve it.
We may update our collection, product information and availability from time to time.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in euros (€), unless otherwise indicated.
Prices for deliveries within the European Union include applicable VAT. For orders delivered outside the European Union, local taxes, customs duties and import charges may apply. These are not included in our prices unless expressly stated otherwise and are the responsibility of the customer.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
The total price of the order, including applicable delivery charges, is shown before the order is placed.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing or technical errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you as soon as possible.
4. Orders & Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Please check the order confirmation and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.
We reserve the right to contact you if additional information is required to process your order.
5. Delivery
Orders are delivered according to the delivery methods and destinations available at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs processing or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the applicable withdrawal period. Returning an item without notifying us of your withdrawal is not sufficient.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, the goods must be returned within 14 days.
You may examine and try on a garment in the same way as you would in a physical shop. If the garment has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, and its value has consequently decreased, we may make a corresponding deduction from the refund as permitted by law.
Certain products made or altered according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised for the customer may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by law.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by our return conditions.
7. Refunds
Where you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, eligible payments will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.
Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Products
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@archetype-label.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
Our products are covered by the statutory rights available to consumers under applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or care, or characteristics inherent to a particular natural material are not in themselves considered product defects.
Please always follow the care instructions provided with the garment.
9. Intellectual Property
The Archetype name, trademarks, website content, garment designs, photographs, graphics, text and other original content appearing on this website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content from this website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission, except where otherwise permitted by law.
10. Third-Party Services & Links
Our online store may use services provided by third parties, including payment providers, delivery companies and Shopify.
Our website may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
When using a third-party service, that provider's own terms and policies may also apply.
11. Personal Information
The processing of personal data in connection with our online store is described in our Privacy Policy.
Please refer to the Privacy Policy for information about what personal data we collect, why we process it, how long it may be retained and your rights concerning your personal data.
12. Website Information
We take reasonable care to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, occasional typographical errors, technical errors or inaccuracies may occur.
We may correct errors and update website content, product information or these Terms when necessary.
Changes to these Terms do not affect orders already concluded under an earlier version of the Terms unless required by applicable law.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.
If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law.
We encourage you to contact us first if you have a question or complaint concerning an order so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.
If a dispute concerning a consumer purchase cannot be resolved between us, a consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) after first contacting the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary, for example to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
The version of the Terms applicable to your purchase is the version in effect when you place your order.
