Airing

Air lyocell garments between wears to help release moisture and odours. Hanging the garment in a well-ventilated space can also help relax light creases.

A garment steamer can be used on a gentle setting to refresh the fabric and release wrinkles between wears.

Resting

Give garments time to rest between wears and store them in a well-ventilated space.

Storage

Lyocell can crease easily. Store woven garments on smooth, shaped hangers to help maintain their form. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may cause colours to fade.

Washing & Stains

Treat stains promptly and blot gently rather than rubbing, as friction can leave marks on the smooth surface of the fabric.

Always follow the garment’s care label. When machine washing is suitable, use a delicate cycle with cool water and a mild detergent.

Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. After washing, reshape the garment and hang or lay flat to dry according to its construction. Do not wring or twist the fabric.

Ironing & Steaming

Lyocell responds well to gentle steaming. If ironing is needed, use a low temperature and iron on the reverse side or with a clean pressing cloth to help prevent shine marks.
