Intentional Design
Archetype is built around the idea of a considered wardrobe. We create modern, functional garments with an emphasis on natural materials, thoughtful construction and silhouettes that extend beyond seasonal trends.
Our collections evolve around familiar wardrobe staples, revisiting established shapes in different fabrics, colours and textures. Materials are selected for their individual character and for how they complement each design.
Natural Materials
Natural fibres are at the heart of our collections. We work with linen, wool, cotton, silk and alpaca, chosen for their texture, comfort and distinctive qualities.
We favour plastic-free textiles and avoid synthetic fibres wherever possible. We also pay attention to the smaller details of each garment, choosing natural or non-plastic alternatives when the construction allows.
Deadstock & Recycled Fabrics
Alongside our core materials, we work with deadstock fabrics sourced from European weaving houses and the LVMH Group. These existing fabrics are often available only in limited quantities, allowing us to create small runs from exceptional materials.
We also incorporate recycled textiles when their composition, quality and characteristics suit the design.
Our Linen
Linen has a special place in our collections. Made from flax, it offers a distinctive combination of texture, breathability and structure that lends itself naturally to the Archetype wardrobe.
Much of our linen comes from Lithuania, a country with a long tradition of linen production. Our manufacturing partner uses renewable energy, recycles leftover fabric cuttings and filters water for reuse in its production processes.
European Craftsmanship
Our garments are cut and sewn by our family-run manufacturing partner in Estonia. With extensive experience in producing workwear and uniforms, their knowledge and craftsmanship are particularly suited to Archetype’s functional approach to clothing.

Wear, Care & Repair
We design clothes to become familiar parts of everyday life — pieces to wear often, care for and repair when needed.
